Dr. Joonsuk Mang
DDS
Dr. Mang is a graduate of the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry, where he earned honours in esthetics. He received advanced training under Dr. Calamia, co-founder of modern etched bonded porcelain veneers, and has since developed a strong passion for cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Mang specializes in a wide range of services, including:
- Complete smile makeovers with porcelain veneers
- Dental Implants
- Bioclear treatment for closing diastemas and black triangles
- Orthodontics (braces and Invisalign®)
- Family & General Dentistry
- Pinhole gum rejuvenation
Throughout his dental education, Dr. Mang was recognized with numerous awards and scholarships, such as:
- Academy of General Dentistry Senior Student Award
- Dr. Edward G. Kaufman Award – presented to the top student of his class
- Elsa Pleuger-Rahmsdorf Scholarship
- Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honour Dental Society Certification
Beyond his academic and professional achievements, Dr. Mang has volunteered his expertise to provide dental care to underserved communities in Mongolia, Mexico, and Nicaragua. He is dedicated to creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient, and he values building long-term, trusting relationships with families of all ages.
Committed to excellence, Dr. Mang regularly pursues advanced continuing education to remain at the forefront of the latest techniques, research, and innovations in dentistry.
Dr. XueEr Hong
Dentist
Dr. XueEr Hong obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Western University with distinction. Upon graduation, she was honoured with the Outstanding Dental Student Award from the American College of Dentists, Ontario Section. Before becoming a dentist, she completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology at Dalhousie University and a Master’s degree in Public Health at Western University – experiences that shaped her patient-focused and compassionate approach to care.
Dr. Hong believes that dentistry is not just about healthy smiles, but also about creating lasting, trusting relationships with patients and helping them feel at ease in the dental chair. Her dedication to ethics and professionalism has been recognized through honourary fellowships with the American College of Dentists (2022) and the International College of Dentists (2025). She is passionate about lifelong learning and regularly takes part in continuing education to stay current with the latest advances in dentistry.
Outside the dental office, Dr. Hong loves to dance and spent over 10 years training as a competitive ballroom dancer. She also enjoys time with family, friends, and her much-loved furry companions.
